NXL's health and medicine track introduces students to careers at the intersection of healthcare, clinical research, data, and technology. By incorporating entrepreneurial thinking courses, students engage in site visits, gain exposure to medical professionals, and analyze real-world case studies. This allows them to explore how clinical systems, policy, and innovation shape patient outcomes and community health, which is essential in public health education and urban planning programs.

BLUEPRINTS & BLOCK DESIGN
NXL's urban planning and design track offers students interested in shaping the world around them a unique opportunity to engage in entrepreneurial thinking courses. Through hands-on design studios, community site analysis, and applied problem-solving, students explore how neighborhoods, public spaces, and cities are imagined, designed, and built. This program also emphasizes the importance of public health education as it relates to urban environments. Students gain early exposure to urban planning principles, design thinking, and systems-level problem solving — building work that supports college pathways in urban planning programs, architecture, environmental design, and city planning.
Code & the Built World
NXL's technology track offers students interested in building the next generation of products, platforms, and solutions the opportunity to engage in entrepreneurial thinking courses. Through exposure to San Francisco's vibrant startup ecosystem, artificial intelligence, engineering principles, and real-world problem solving, students explore how technology is designed, developed, and deployed to address community and global challenges, including aspects of public health education and urban planning programs.
Students develop early technical literacy, AI fluency, and entrepreneurial thinking, creating a strong foundation for college pathways in computer science, engineering, and technology entrepreneurship.
